President & Director
Sharon K. Robinson
FCAS, MAAA
Sharon K. Robinson is a Vice President and Actuary with the CNA insurance companies, based in Chicago, Illinois. She is currently responsible for the pricing of all Medical Professional Liability products offered by CNA. Prior to that, she was a Regional Actuary, Commercial Lines Group, for the St. Paul Fire & Marine Insurance Company and, earlier, a rising actuary within the CNA insurance companies with experiences in a variety of commercial insurance products. Sharon’s actuarial career spans 20 years and includes extensive experience with individual large account pricing, commercial insurance ratemaking, financial planning and rate filing and regulatory compliance.
Sharon graduated from the University of Illinois with a degree in Actuarial Science and is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society as well as a member of the American Academy of Actuaries. Sharon currently serves on the Academy’s Subcommittee on Medical Malpractice. She has previously served on the Chicago Advisory Council for Menttium 100, an organization dedicated to the professional development of businesswomen through executive level mentoring relationships. Sharon is also a past President and past Vice-President of the International Association of Black Actuaries.

Claudia R. Campbell
ASA
Claudia Campbell was an Actuarial Specialist with CIGNA Corporation in Hartford, Connecticut. Claudia joined CIGNA in 2002 and has held positions in the reserving and pricing departments within the HealthCare Division. She was responsible for the financial reporting of Settlement Annuities in CIGNA’s Investment Management Division. She served on CIGNA’s Actuarial Community Taskforce, which assists with the integration of recently hired students into the actuarial community.
Claudia graduated from the University of the West Indies (UWI) in Kingston, Jamaica with a First Class Honors degree in Actuarial Science. While at UWI, Claudia completed a summer internship with Blue Cross of Jamaica in their Underwriting Department. She has completed the first three Society of Actuaries examinations.
Claudia is a member of IABA and has served on the IABA Membership Committee for the last two years.

Damon C. Siler
Damon C. Siler is a Senior Actuarial Analyst with North Carolina Mutual Life Insurance in Durham, NC. His primary focus is the management of various reports and processes tied to periodic financial reporting. Prior to this, he worked with Kaiser Foundation Health Plan, Inc. in Rockville, MD, where he was responsible for valuation and transitional pricing for the Underwriting department. Damon has also held similar positions with UniCare, a WellPoint company, and Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Illinois, both located in Chicago, IL, where he focused on forecasting, financial reporting, discount analysis, and network analysis.
Damon graduated from Howard University in 2000 with a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics. He has served IABA as a past member of the Communications Committee, and for multiple terms on the IABA Foundation.

Charmaine Peart
Charmaine Peart was an Actuarial Analyst with the Aetna in Hartford, Connecticut. Charmaine joined Aetna in 2006 and has held positions in small group pricing and in network analytics. She was a contributor to the TriCare bid, a bid for government business, and served on Aetna’s Actuarial Intern Committee. Her current position is with the Retirement Practice of Aon Consulting in Rutherford, New Jersey.
Charmaine graduated Summa Cum Laude from St. John’s University, May 2006, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science. She has completed the first two Society of Actuaries examinations and her Validation of Educational Experience (VEE) credits have all been approved.
Charmaine is currently the assistant treasurer of the IABA Foundation and is the co-lead of the New York/ New Jersey affiliate.

Keren C. Charles
Keren Charles is an actuarial analyst at Towers Perrin. In addition to working on reserving and pricing, Keren has been a member of predictive modeling, claims management and workforce management teams. She is part of the mentorship initiative between Howard University and Towers Perrin, and provides support and counseling to college students on the Actuarial track.
Keren graduated Summa Cum Laude from Howard University, May 2004, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. Her field of study was Insurance with a concentration in Actuarial Science.
In IABA, Keren is currently the secretary of the Foundation.

Jennifer Clark
ACAS, MAAA
Jennifer E. Clark is an Assistant Actuary with Allstate Insurance Company in Northbrook, IL. With 8 years of experience, Jennifer has served in many personal lines pricing roles with a concentration in auto and homeowners insurance. In June of 2006, Jennifer entered the Allstate Talent Acceleration Program where she has rotated into many different operational and business roles within Allstate. Her roles have included Field Operations Manager at the Customer Information Center in Charlotte, NC, Territorial Product Manager in the Northwest Regional Office in Seattle, WA. And currently in her final rotation, Jennifer is a Communications Manager in Media Relations in Allstate’s Corporation Relations Department, where she develops and executes strategies for Allstate’s appearance in national media outlets.
Jennifer is a graduate of Florida A&M University with a degree in Mathematics and Business Administration and is an Associate in the Casualty Actuarial Society. She currently serves on the Joint SOA/CAS Committee for Career Encouragement as well as the Casualty Actuarial Society’s Media Relations Committee. She has previously served as the leader of the Chicago Affiliate for the International Association of Black Actuaries.

Jennifer Middough
FCAS, MAAA
Jennifer Middough is a Vice President at Partner Reinsurance Company of
the U.S., located in Greenwich Connecticut. Her duties include
conducting pricing analyses of Specialty Casualty reinsurance treaties,
including non-Medical E&O, standalone Umbrella/Excess, and Workers
Compensation catastrophe covers. She is also responsible for providing
input for the client audit process and participating in underwriting
reviews. Prior to her employment with Partner Re, she has worked for a
number of companies including William M. Mercer, CNA Insurance
Companies and St. Paul Reinsurance Management Corporation.
Jennifer graduated cum laude from New York University with a Bachelor
of Arts degree in Mathematics. She is a Fellow of the Casualty
Actuarial Society and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries.
She has served as Secretary for the International Association of Black
Actuaries as well as Chair of the Communications Committee.

Roosevelt C. Mosley
FCAS, MAAA
Roosevelt Mosley is a Principal with Pinnacle Actuarial Resources, Inc.
in the Bloomington, Illinois, office. He holds a Bachelor of Science
degree in Actuarial Science and a Bachelor of Science degree in
Statistics from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He has worked
in the insurance industry since 1994.
Roosevelt is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) and a
member of the American Academy of Actuaries. He currently serves the
CAS as a member of the Board of Directors and the Strategic Planning
Committee. He has previously served the CAS as a member of the
Committee on Professionalism Education, a member of the Joint CAS/SOA
Committee on Minority Recruiting, and a participant in the CAS
University Liaison program.
Before joining Pinnacle, Roosevelt was employed as a pricing actuary
for State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company and by Vesta
Insurance Group, where he was the personal lines manager responsible
for homeowner and private passenger automobile ratemaking and
products. He has experience in the areas of predictive analytics,
personal lines ratemaking, including California auto sequential
analysis filings and profitability analysis for private passenger
automobile and homeowners insurance; insurance scoring analysis,
insurance legislation pricing and analysis, including no-fault auto
insurance pricing; evaluation of books of business for acquisition;
rate filing and regulatory compliance; competitive analysis; reserving;
catastrophe modeling, litigation support and financial modeling.
Roosevelt has made numerous presentations on topics relating to
predictive modeling, insurance scoring, ratemaking and the actuarial
career.

Nana D. Prempeh
Nana Prempeh is an actuarial senior specialist with CIGNA Corporation
in Hartford, Connecticut. Since joining CIGNA in 2003 she has had
rotations in the pricing, reserving and financial reporting departments
within the company’s Healthcare division. In her current role, she is
responsible for establishing and reporting reserves on the guaranteed
cost block of business. She currently serves on CIGNA's Diversity
Council.
Nana graduated from Vanderbilt University in 2003, with degrees in
Mathematics and Computer Science. She has completed all her actuarial
exams and will be attaining her Fellowship in the Society of Actuaries
in the coming months.
Nana is currently a director of the IABA Foundation and a former lead for the IABA Hartford Affiliate.

Arthur R. Randolph, II
FCAS, MAAA
Arthur Randolph is a Consulting Actuary with the Tillinghast insurance
consulting business of Towers Perrin in the firm’s Atlanta office. His
core focus is medical professional liability. He provides actuarial
services to a number of professional liability insurers, self-insured
hospitals, hospital groups, and captive insurers. Prior to his
employment with Towers Perrin, he worked for The PMA Insurance Group,
PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, Allstate Insurance Company, and CNA
Insurance Companies.
Arthur graduated from Temple University with a dual major in Actuarial
Science and Risk Management. He is a Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial
Society and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries. He is also
a member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc.
He has served in various roles within the International Association of
Black Actuaries (IABA). During FY 2005, he served in a dual capacity
as the Treasurer and a Director for both IABA and the IABA Foundation.
He served as Treasurer for three (3) consecutive terms. Most recently,
he served as President for the IABA Foundation for two years.
